You haven't heard from me today because I have ..

...sore throat, nausea, headache, body aches, exhaustion. I have slept most of the day. I think I have the flu. Aaron has been taking good care of me and the kiddos. Why must I catch everything I come into contact with? :( Praying I will feel better tomorrow so Aaron can work and I can get caught up on housework.

Pink Eye and Flu Shots...

Asher has pink eye :( ...poor baby. I am so sorry for everyone who came in contact with him over the weekend. He had his 6 month check up today and he was a whopping 17.4 pounds, and 25 inches long.

Both kids got shots today and did so well. As a treat, we went and picked up Aaron afterwards for some lunch. Azaylee had her first official Taco Bell experience and Asher was eating tortillas as fast as he could go. I love my babies. Much better day today!

Oooh store bought baby-food...giving the food processor and the mommy a break. :)

Rough Night, Rough Morning

Asher was up about every 2 hours last night crying, only to be consoled by his Momma :(
He was scheduled for his 6 month well check this morning, but when we got out to the van to leave the battery was dead. Poor baby has a swollen puffy eye, but he is happy. Knight in shining armor rode up on the motorcycle unbeknownst to me and fixed my lovely van. Hopefully we can head out for groceries later, after Zay wakes up. Asher's appt is rescheduled for tomorrow. In the meantime, I am cleaning the house and trying to remember that phrase "how do you eat an elephant, one bite at a time." Pumpkin season has officially caught up with our darling home. I'm sorry, knight in shining armor, for taking this out on you.

Azaylee Quote!

This morning when I got Azaylee out of bed her first words were, " Laylee listen "hold me" and mommy cook eggs" The girl knew what she wanted. "Hold Me" is her favorite song that she sings all the time. You can find it here
After getting dressed and going downstairs I pulled up "Hold Me" on the computer and sat beside her while she started dancing, then she looked at me, started pushing me off the couch and said "Mommy! You cook some eggs please."
I am excited about the fact that she can really communicate with me now. Although I am not so excited about the bossiness that is sure to follow! At least she used her manners?

Asher's New Contraption- I think he's in love...

Climbing in and out of the window is lots of fun :)

Azaylee Quote!

At Discovery Place today Azaylee bumped her head when climbing out of the play race car. A minute or so later when walking up the stairs she turned to me and said "Hold you Mommy. I just so busy" It took me a minute but I figured out she was trying to say that she was dizzy.

She is so funny. I am going to try to put quotes from her on here, because they are so funny sometimes and I tend to forget them.
